The story is told from the alternating perspectives of Alicia and Theo Faber, the criminal psychotherapist who ends up getting a job at the treatment facility where Alicia is being treated, specifically so he could treat her. I simply going to list what I like and dislike and give a final verdict while being as concise as possible. The Silent Patient is a swarming, paranoid nightmare of a novel with an ending that is destined to go down as one of the most shocking, mind-blowing twists in recent memory.
